[review] Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai!

#1
My friends had been nagging me to watch this show since it came out almost four years ago, and I had nothing else to do during the last few days, so I decided it couldn't hurt. And I was wrong. Kind of.

In the beginning, it seems nothing but cringey and cliche, and I almost stopped watching there and then, but as the series progresses and the characters (and their relationship[s]) start to develop, it gets funnier, deeper, and more meaningful. If you've never seen the show and you saw side-by-side screenshots of the first and last episodes, you'd almost certainly think one was an OVA or a spinoff.

With all its oddities and weird points of view, Chuunibyou is hilarious, heartwarming, and engaging, through and through.

It's cliche, I did like the anime but it ended as I thought it would be. Both of them are too innocent and shy when it comes to love.

The cringe/cliche bits made me drop this, oddly. I'd seen probably 3-4 episodes.
