Very important

  • To access the important data of the forums, you must be active in each forum and especially in the leaks and database leaks section, send data and after sending the data and activity, data and important content will be opened and visible for you.
  • You will only see chat messages from people who are at or below your level.
  • More than 500,000 database leaks and millions of account leaks are waiting for you, so access and view with more activity.
  • Many important data are inactive and inaccessible for you, so open them with activity. (This will be done automatically)

Help ._.

#1
I think I my laptop may be infected.
My reasoning is that on my Google Chrome, instead of opening my new tab page, it opens some type of search engine.

Also something keeps installing random extensions on my chrome.

It's getting on my nerves and it makes my browsing slow.

Can someone help?

Were you one of the people who downloaded the file from the free VPN thread?

Either way, try doing a system restore to an earlier date. I used to do this all the time, and Eternal Minds also suggested it to me.

What OS are you running?

Windows Vista or something like that.
Maybe Windows 7.
I'm not sure.

No, I didn't.
Can you walk me through a restore?

If you know how to go to the Control Panel, do that first.

Once you are in the CPanel, look for the listed item called "Recovery". You'll want to do a system restore to the next earliest date, or whichever date prior to the one you think you got infected. If you need any further help, you can contact me via Skype.

I'll be on for a little while yet.

I just restored it.
It seems fine right now, but my browser is a little slow.

Seems like there was no need for a restore.

It was simple adware, you downloaded something and agreed to it, so it installed along with the regular thing.

Happens when you download off of sites such as cnet. You have to read what it's saying.

However, considering I don't know the position that you're in, it is possible that it was an infection.
