Hello all!
Today I'm going to teach you some basics on Hex-Editing files so you can start hacking files placed in Documents Folder on almost any app .
The first thing you need is a PC with a Hex Editing program. I personally recommend HxD because it's FREE, Ads Free and it's easy to learn and use.
Then you will need any app that can be hacked using this method. For this tutorial I'll use 'World Conqueror 2'.
Lastly, we will need iFunbox/iFile/iExplorer to paste our hacked file.
After having our tools ready to use, we will open iFunbox and look for the app. After that, we will go to the Documents Folder.
The most important thing here is guessing Where the amount of Medals, Coins... is located. In this tutorial the only files that can appear are commander.sav and savegame[0-7].sav; so, by logic, commander.sav will contain the amount of medals our commander has.
After locating the file, we will open our game 'WW2' and see How Many Medals does our commander have right now (remember that number).
Now we will return to our commander.sav file and open it using HxD.
You will see random letters at the beginning and then many dots (in this tutorial we will just focus on the medals). If you press Ctrl-F3, select 'Decimal Value' and add the number of medals, you will see a string that is marked with red.
What you have to do next is 'Replacing' the number writing 99999999 for example. The marked string will change its characters.
Then follow these easy steps:
1. Save the file keeping the same name
2. Overwrite it in Documents Folder
3. Refresh and open the game
4. Done! You have 9999999 medals!
You can do this with almost every game that has useful files in the Documents Folder and this works with JB and Non JB users!
