Moving, working, and finding time to socialize are just facets of life. Relative to the rest of society very few women are actually strippers, pornstars, or prostitutes. For the ones that are, it's simply their profession. You can eat steak or you can eat McDonald's. One takes more effort but it's more filling.

Some people have finer tastes, I agree. The thing is that fucking basically pornstars is available to anyone with cash. What if they don't want love or a "normal" relationship at all? Not everyone's a religious zealot and wants to work a 9-to-5 raising the kids in slumtown while working at the factory all day. Most people don't want that, I don't think. Most people do want to fuck attractive people, though, and there's a ton of attractive women who offer it as a business.

Paying for sex definitely won't help someone with social issues, either. People that are sexually obsessed to the point they're willing to pay, are likely incapable of getting it otherwise. Some people have the mentality that forging actual relationships is pointless, when it's easier to "swipe right" or outright pay for sex. It's not a good way to live.

Again, it's probably about quality. Sure you can date some ugly girl for free. You might really like her personality. She might be smart, funny, etc., but she's still ugly. She's not going to do it for you like other women will. You'll end up thinking of some chick you saw in a porno while fucking her, hoping she won't notice how detached you are while doing it.

"Swiping right" as in referring to dating sites is a modern take on dating. Its not necessarily paying for sex. They're just using apps to socialize. I mean try in any major city going out and finding attractive single women to meet without using an app of some sort.

It's really not a great way to live, but it's not the same. You can do both. You can build relationships and fuck hot chicks just for the sake of wanting to fuck a hot chick. You can do one or the other. You can do neither. You might be able to do both at the same time, but it's hard.

Sex robots fill a niche. They fill a void for some. It's an aesthetically pleasing fuck object designed purely for your pleasure. Sure it's probably sinful, but this is 0day.red so what do you expect? Walking, talking, fucking robots are on the way and it's clear why people would buy them. The autistic chunky janitor with a neckbeard can fuck Mia Khalifa in the ass on demand if he wants to. I think it actually will help in his sake. It will help him get over sexual insecurities and potentially nervousness dealing with women. It might have a negative effect and make him look down on women or see them as sex objects, though, so it is a double-edged sword.

People should have realistic expectations. Everyone wants to be in a relationship with a "10", but not everybody is a 10. Someone that's socially inept needs to address their flaws in a proactive manner. Fantasizing is normal and everything is fine in moderation, but people have a tendency to get lost in delusion. Especially if technology will aid in that.

Part of relationships is accepting your partner's faults, as well as your own. It's better to have a relationship with a 7 that has similar interests and a great personality than a 10 that doesn't. We're all going to get old and finding someone that you genuinely enjoy spending your time with should take priority. Morality has nothing to do with it.

Life is all about finding balance. I have friends that spent their 20s-30s sleeping around, and as they've aged they're finding it difficult to find a partner and settle down. Likewise, I'm sure we all have friends that are addicted to porn and have a harder time finding an actual relationship. It's all fun and games until the janitor starts bringing his sex robot on dates.

Well, there's that ideal and then there's reality. Then there's how subjective it all is. A 7 to one is a 10 to another, or a 3 to yet another. There's far too many people out there offering these services and interested in purchasing them (or purchasing porn, sex robots, etc.) to make it all go away, despite your opinion or many other religious types. It just won't happen. Even in more repressive countries like the USA and Russia, Korea, etc., sex work is still extremely common. It's not regulated and legalized like most of Europe or Latin and South America yet is more common by the sheer numbers of people involved. It's not "normal" common, but statistically so.

I'm honestly surprised you're both a 0day.red member and this repressive. There's hookers in every Middle Eastern country as well. Just check any escort site. They buy porn, too.

Repressive? I think you may have misread Oni's posts from what I've read. To me, it seemed like he was talking about balance.

I believe it's perfectly normal for people to watch porn or engage in stuff like that, but it's not particularly healthy for self-esteem/mental expectations to spend ten years of your life with a sex robot. It's going to be harder to find a life companion, should that be something you want. If you're not interested in that, then it doesn't matter.

It's the same with anything, "too much" of something can have negative consequences. Sex robots will be no different. Sex robots can and will, have negative implications on people's ability to socialise and manage relationships with real humans. You could name 5 other things that have similar impact.

Oddly, out of everyone I've ever met, I could count how many I know who have sold themselves or purchased sex with someone on one hand. I don't think it's as common as being implied, but it's obviously common enough or prostitution wouldn't still be a thing.

You've missed my point if that's your conclusion. I'm not seeking to regulate anything and I'm not telling anyone what they should/shouldn't do. I'm only stating the potential outcomes for people that overindulge. Just like not everyone that drinks alcohol becomes an alcoholic, not everyone that relies on robots/prostitutes is going to be a sex fiend. Realistically, robots are stuck in "uncanny valley", where they're a mess of animatronics/silicone. However, that might not always be the case. With the advancement of technology, people should be worried about the potential implications for relationships.

Consider how many people have lousy sex lives and are in relationships, though. Just about everyone masturbates, or has over a large period of their life. I have been around a lot of women who strip. They just don't admit to it later because they don't want to be seen in that light. Go to any club and you'll see very very attractive women doing it. Escorts and the like are often very attractive, but there is a spectrum all the way down to the backalley crackhead sucking dick for quarters. It is much more common in metro areas.

Besides that, you don't have to spend a decade with a sex robot. You could just have it as a side thing. It'll probably break by then, anyway. Have you stayed with a woman for 10 years?

When they surpass the uncanny valley stage, or get closer to being comfortable, I bet they'll end up being a household thing. People will become so accustomed to robots being around that it won't even matter. I've found several non-sexual robots people have developed on sites like Hackaday. There's complete instructions to 3D print several robots out already, and most are human-sized.

It's going to end up being like every other vice in that sense, though. Prostitution is illegal. Sex is all but frowned upon by today's liberal-yet-conservative when the law is applied-society. Look how many stripclubs there are. Better yet, how many bars there are. Alcoholism is heavily frowned upon, yet every single day there's thousands of drunk people driving around all around you and you don't even notice. Marijuana legalization has millions of people getting stoned every single day and you don't even notice. Try sites like Fetlife, skipthegames, Escort Society, Chaturbate, the list goes on and on, and you'll see what kind of freaky stuff people do every single day, even right this second, all around you.

I'm sure you have your own vices. Maybe you eat a little too much, spend a little too much time online, don't shower enough, whatever, but so does everyone. I can understand it's because people find these things pleasureable and continue to seek it out like a drug addict would, but they're often not addicts and choose to continue because it feels good, but stop when it affects their life in a negative way. Work could be considered the same thing since you gotsta have that money to get by. I'm not promoting hedonism but really anything enjoyable could be considered just that, not just sex or drugs or rock and roll. It's easy to preach about everyone else's faults, though.

Then there's the almost-paranoid, possibly conspiratorial angle to it all. Why are people so conservative yet allow so much vice to happen? Police conveniently leave all of the businesses and many people alone, just arresting the low hanging fruit so it looks like they're solving the problem. The dealers stay around, though, and always have. The same will probably happen with sex robots. Hell, weird alt-right radical groups and even extra-liberal leftists will probably try to force people into doing it at some point. Maybe there's another pandemic, or there's some medical reason people should all have test tube babies, but the issue will eventually arise. It happens all the time. There's still countries without equal rights and with extreme class segregation who don't have the same rights and are subservient to their ruler's whims. Even in "democratic" countries we don't all live how we want, and there are elite groups who run the shitshow from behind the scenes.

I can't say that I have stayed with a women for 10 years, then again, I am a straight woman myself...

There isn't as many women who do that sort of thing among the general population, but that's not to say there aren't plenty of women who do. It's more of a 1/10 thing than the 6/10 that your posts make it sound like haha.

I think you're right in the sense that it's very human to seek stuff out like this. But it will have some kind of impact, the same as any vice we may have has some kind of impact.

I am slightly amused at the idea of teachers having to educate young people about "safe sex" then going onto the topic of sex robots. Can you imagine!

Have you stayed with a woman for 10 years?

Coincidentally, it will be 10 years in July.

You've missed my point if that's your conclusion. I'm not seeking to regulate anything and I'm not telling anyone what they should/shouldn't do. I'm only stating the potential outcomes for people that overindulge. Just like not everyone that drinks alcohol becomes an alcoholic, not everyone that relies on robots/prostitutes is going to be a sex fiend. Realistically, robots are stuck in "uncanny valley", where they're a mess of animatronics/silicone. However, that might not always be the case. With the advancement of technology, people should be worried about the potential implications for relationships.

This is my main point... Life isn't a giant bacchanal and not that many women are sex workers. I've definitely known whores and sex addicts, but they're certainly a minority and it's not a pleasant lifestyle. Like any vice, people that are overindulging should be careful.

You would be surprised. It's like every woman here is, it seems, at least the attractive ones. They literally fly them in to work in these types of establishments here. The normal population aren't that way, but they're also not athletic or very attractive. That's the part I am curious about. Where do all of these attractive women come from and why are they so willing to do sex work?

I'm serious. There's zones here like in many countries and you won't see these women outside of them except for maybe at colleges.

It is more common than you two seem to think, and 10 years of dedication is less common than you realize. Divorce rates are at its highest, people are getting married less, LGBTQ is at its peak, sex workers are at the highest count, etc. Then there's the sex robots.

It's the same as with everything else. You probably don't even see it in your day-to-day life, but rich people do. I live in a city that 10 billionaires also reside in. The disparity between the rich and the poor is one of the highest in the world, probably close to the Middle East.

You don't see it because you're not supposed to. You're just supposed to live some mediocre working-class life because that's how they designed your life for you.
