For some reason, I feel like this wouldn't work as I feel that Google would start refusing your connections after a certain point.
That aside, oh dear god, is that really Python?

Google definitely checks how many requests you send to their login page. Thats why hydra attacks never work because Google sends a fake "correct" response to your attempt.

Had anyone tried using this tool? And does it actually work?

Dude you should study about rate limiting. Bruteforce tools dont work at all nowdays on top level domains like gmail or facebook. If you want to know why they dont work then study about rate limiting.
