Re: how to get rid of unwanted internet connections..... PID killer
If you are going to use PID killer you will need to know you are deleting the right PID/s and not one you need. I have found a way to find unwanted PID's using advanced IP scanner.
First you will need to download advanced IP scanner. You can get this free from Cnet.com. Once you have downloaded advanced IP scanner, scan your computer/s while not connected to the net and right down the IP address (you can save these in favorites). then scan your computer/s while connected to the net agin righting down the IP addresses. Then when you use PID killer you can use the information you have acquired from advanced IP scanner to work out which PID addresses shouldn't be there and delete them.
