"Whatever cheap stuff" xD That's an amusing assumption. Not beer related, but more spirits based, I get some really nice deals from duty free. I'm not looking to get drunk on something disgusting. I'd prefer to enjoy the taste, so I normally go for spiced rums or whiskeys.

Went to Defcon when I was underage. Definitely missed out on the nightlife, but the minibar was easily accessible.

Snake Venom sounds painful, to be honest. 67.5% ABV is just a couple steps down from 151 or Everclear (which are normally diluted).

I have similar taste when it comes to spirits, also a big fan of Brandy and the majority of Red Wines- Wine in general gives a different feeling to beer/spirits, it makes me quite talkative and strangely emotional. Also both aren't too bad in terms of calories/carbohydrates.

Wine can be pretty bad, but as with anything: Moderation is key. They say straight/neat spirits is the best trick for people watching the calories etc. On one diet, I used to drink white bicardi rum on ice. That put hair on my chest.
