Just what i've got down so far, i'm setting everything up to make it easier when I create levels and start creating the variations of enemies and bosses.

I like the sonic sprites you used. And when your character jumps is he supposed to turn into a ball every time or only when he's moving really fast?

Nope, here are the current controls:

-Left Arrow: Move Left
-Right Arrow: Move Right
-LeftShift: Run if Left or Right key is pressed
-SpaceBar: Jump
-C: Curl up into a spinning ball (Only while still in the air)

That spinning ball is actually a jump attack essentially. I probably will be adding a simple punch as well.

It will only do the curl spin if CharacterState is set to Jump mode in the code. Therefore only just while the jump is happening up until he hits the ground is when you can use the curl. I'll have to see what i'll do about a rev spin to shoot the character as well lol. That's the classics.
